A MESSAGE FROM Rt Hon Dame Andrea Leadsom DBE MP:
The many and frequent road closures across South Northamptonshire have been a source of great frustration to residents over the past few months, particularly where they have appeared to be uncoordinated and haphazard. Local people are rightly sick and tired of this sort of disruption, and many have written to me asking for help with highlighting the problem in Parliament.
As such, I have drafted a petition to Parliament urging the Government to step in and ensure these road closures are properly coordinated in a way that does not significantly impact residents. You can find the petition and its full text attached.
