Northamptonshire Police Liaison Representative (PLR) Scheme

The PLR Scheme, is where every parish and town council and parish meeting appoints a person (could be a councillor, officer, or member of the public) to act as a single point of contact for the police. This month, the Commissioner attends a regional Road Safety Summit where he shares details of his Road Safety Community Fund with neighbouring counties. He also explains how a new grant will help community and voluntary groups tackle knife crime and youth violence.

You can read more about the great work that Voice do to support victims of crime and how the service has received national recognition for the care and support they provide.

The Commissioner is also pleased to announce the launch of the second Safer Nights Out (SNO) Van which will be in Kettering supporting people enjoying the night-time economy.
